How are glass beer bottles made?

In life, we often use various glass products, such as glass windows, glass cups, glass sliding doors, etc. Glass products are both beautiful and practical. They can not only be attractive with their crystal clear appearance, but also make full use of their hard and durable physical properties. Some art glass can even make the glass have more patterns and enhance the decorative effect. In this article we will introduce how glass beer bottles are made.
The glass bottle production process mainly includes:
① Raw material pre-processing. Crush the bulk raw materials (quartz sand, soda ash, limestone, feldspar, etc.), dry the wet raw materials, and remove the iron-containing raw materials to ensure the quality of the glass.
② batch preparation.
③ melting. The glass batch is heated in a pool kiln or a pool furnace at a high temperature (1550 ~ 1600 degrees) to form a uniform, non-bubble, and liquid glass that meets the molding requirements.
④ molding. Put the liquid glass into the mold to make glass products with the required shape, such as flat plates, various utensils, etc.
⑤ heat treatment. Through processes such as annealing and quenching, the stress, phase separation or crystallization in the glass is eliminated or generated, and the structural state of the glass is changed.
